And now the end is near.

Dear Sitters,

Sudden and awful news, for this little celebrity's bank balance anyway. It seems that the Carringwood Hotel is to be sold. In fact it has been sold. It's been rough financially for the current owners, except for this night which has been a roaring success, and the silent partners have decided to pull the plug. So this is the end of the Hotseat. This is our last week. Thanks for all your love.

      Thanks you for the kind words folks, but petitioning the owners won't work. The pub is being converted into apartments. I might be able to continue the night elsewhere. I'll keep you posted.
